Here's another exoskeleton. These photos are what it looked like in its final state of wire working. It is now painted red and silver to resemble a lionfish. The battery packs were completed today, so the EL wire can go on very soon.

Wow, so much detail in the claw. What kinds of tools do you use to make each radius so clean and smooth?

It took a lot of work. I had to measure each joint and segment perfectly in order to get the fingers to fit correctly. And there's not a whole lot of space to work with. I used copper wire for the fingers, so there was no margin of error, otherwise they'd be ruined. Surprisingly, I only used a pair of needlenosed pliers and my bare hands for the fingers. The needlenoses were replaced by longnoses for the hand.
 
you know these could fetch a price especially for private sculptures like i know some people on here would love a wire sculpture of there fave fish :D

That's usually what I do. I was recently paid very well by a surgeon's office for a large sculpture I'm nearly finished with. I actually started my sculpture career on MFK, accidentally.
