I now have the means to add water directly from the tap when I do water changes...NO MORE BUCKETS!!! But now I have a new concern. When I used buckets I added the dechlorinator directly to each bucket and stirred it before adding it to the aquarium. Well now I am adding water directly from the tap, about 25 gallons per 10% water change and I am concerned whether or not the chlorine in the water is effecting my fish, or worse yet it may be killing the beneficial bacteria.
Is there something I can add to the water line to treat the water as it leaves the hose?
I live in a place where the water has a very strong Chlorine smell when you run the water so I asssume it has a high concertration of chlorine.
