decorations powered by water filter, not air pump

Last night I did a quick mod to my power head. I took the air intake tube and moved it so it's all underwater. I took a medicin port off of an I.V. line and glued it to the end of the air tube. The tube is now filled with water, but I can inject pulverized food, in tiny amounts directly into the stream of water. My newly aquired bamboo shrimp love it. They pirch on a shaft of dirft wood and filter away.

FYI, the tank is filtered by a HOB biowheel filter, so the power head is just moving water around.

Good suggestions! I especially like the one of directing the outlet of a powerfilter to the vanes of a windmill. I will buy some cheap air decorations and play with them. I think (from reading boxes) if I had an underwater pump as opposed to a powerhead, there would be more pressure and more tolerance of back pressure. Also the underwater pump would be easier than a powerhead to disguise.
