Wow, thanks guys. Vader, I got lost in time and space and ended up reading that entire thread! Talk about absorbing, lol.
This is about where I started changing my mind:
Lol.
Well the Bichirs are almost guaranteed to be in the tank, and I don't want to risk feeding them beautiful Tangs, so I think it will just be an aggressive oddball tank. Like I said, I have the single female Cyprichromis leptosoma who is here to stay, but she's about 3.2 inches and pretty tough. I'm going to have to risk her.
She's currently in a 16G QT tank with a Fat Sleeper "Jade Goby" who is about twice her size in length and three times as wide, and she hasn't taken any crap from him (he's eaten fish bigger than her), so I'm thinking she'll be okay. Maybe the Goby will keep her safe from the Bichirs.
The Yellow Labs would almost certainly become Jade Goby food. I'm trying to keep everything over three inches. Unfortunately I have a random conglomeration of aggressive fish that need the bigger house, so the tank cannot be themed for one biotype or else it will be like Godzilla attacking China whenever Jade Goby comes out to play.
I hate when reality dawns after an idea gets you excited. Time to pull the plug on this one, heh.
