Demasonis have bred!

I have a pair of wild caught breeders and I have finally got them to successfully breed!

Now, as soon as the babies are out of her mouth, I'll remove her.

It's funny, the parents are so skittish. But the babies, they are so 'domesticated'.

i have that with my breeding jewels...they babies all swarm to the top when someone comes near but the parents will freak out and nearly beat themselves to death trying to hide.


im pretty sure the jewels were wild caught in a river in my area actually.

Cool, Lila. If you're getting your demasoni to breed, you must be providing a good environment for them. I keep a breeding colony of these fish, too, and I really like the babies. They color up so nicely, even at a very young age.
