How about we go with age this time to go along with gender? I've always been curious about how 'young' everyone is. There is so much 'wisdom' that I assume that most of you are between the ages of 30 and 50. I'm probably wrong though. When I first started my nano I was surprised to find out that the guy that ran nano-reef.com was, at that time, 16 or something close to that.

I'm 30, been keeping fish for 15+ years (on my own, had fish my parents helped care for since I was much younger). I branched into the marine hobby only in the last couple of years, although I had been planning a reef tank for many years (just never had the money to set one up before).
26 yrs old here. most of us will probably be 20 yrs old and above. the problem with marine tanks is you usually gotta have a job to pay for it! parents generally don't love spending lots of $$$ on marine setups. lol.
Good Point. I just didn't want to limit the choices and possibly hurt someone's feeling. We all know how those 100+ year olds get angry when they are left out of things.

I'm 30 ... have had a FW tank for close to 4 years now and only last year decided to try my hand at the salty side!
Like SuperScro, I too will end up going to Grad. School in the next couple of years (which will more than likely involve a move across the country) so I really don't know that's going to happen with the tank. The worst part is that when I do go back, that will be the time when my tank has matured and things will probably be looking real good by then! Oh well ... I love taking care of it now so I wouldn't wanna give it up for anything!
