Diablo 3 guest pass

Dont think Im gonna get into this one. I really burned myself out on 2. To be honest I really didnt see anything that got me excited about it. But it is a blizzard game and Im sure its probably pretty decent. I havent seen anything they have made that wasnt good

7 hours is if you're racing through trying to finish in a rush. I've got 9 hours on my Witch Doctor and I'm in Act 2. I've got a friend who took 20 hours to beat on normal, then there are still more difficulties.

Online only is there to eliminate duping mostly, it's really the only way to do that. The game runs many processes server side to prevent cheating. Dropping in and out of multi player is seamless, I haven't had any problems with it. You can keep your game closed to multi player if you want to play alone though.

Only 20 hours total to get through the whole game on normal? I know it took me way longer than that for D2. I thought the online-only thing was to prevent cheating of any sort. Definitely levels the duelling field anyway, there won't be outrageously equipped character files that own 98% of the rest...

My kids are telling me that to duel one goes hostile on the other and that person has to accept.

That's how D2 worked. There is no hostile flag anymore, to duel you have to join a pvp arena. The arenas haven't been released yet, but will be in the next couple of weeks (Free).

About the game? The mechanics are good but the graphics bug me, its not that they arnt much better than d2 because clearly they are but its still very wow-y and it kinda bugs me. Its the art work that they seem to like but personally I like darker/ sharper graphics. Starcraft 2 has vastly superior graphics to sc1, I was kinda hoping they would be more like that. The quest system and weaps are much better, as for story the cinematics are awesome and it seems great but I havnt bought the game yet so cant say beyond the demo. I do wish there was more customization of skills instead of just auto upping them at a given level. All in all the gameplay and story seems like 9/10 but graphics (to me) kill it largely with a 5 or 6/10. I run max settings also on a 24" hd monitor.

I vant dis game! :D Saw the preview on U-Tube, I'll need to check out the first two before I can look into this one though lol
