fist will dimond tetra's be good in a 10gallon tank? also will they school with a black skirt tetra and a white long fin skirt tetra

They grow to like 2.5" 4 of them would fill your 10g with nothing else in there.

cause right now i have 1 black skirt and 1 white skirt so i was goin to get two dimond tetra's but that would be to much?

I had some Diamond Tetras in a 10 gal once and would have to say no. These are very active fish and fast. They like to have lots of room. In my 10 gal they were very active at first until about 2 months later they would just stay in one spot and looked bad. Moved them into my 55gal and within 15mins they were active and showing good colors. I would say 30gals or more for Diamond Tetras.

Diamond tetras will get to big for a ten gallon tank. They are one of the species of tetras that will grow quite large. I have some of them in my 125 gallon planted community tank and they are very active and all over the tank. i would suggest nothing less then a 40 gallon as the minimum for this particular tetra.
