I just did a 30% water change and was supposed to "change" my Bio-Bag for a Whisper 40 HOB. I'm not sure that I did the filter bag process right. These are the steps I took to do all of this. Let me know if anything I did was incorrect, or uneccessary.

1. Turned off heater, air pump, and filter.
2. Gravel Vac'd with siphon and took out 30% water.
3. Took out the Bio-Bag in my filter.
4. Took out the Carbon and Zeolite that was in there.
5. Rinsed the Bio-Bag and cleaned it out inside of old tank water.
6. Put new carbon and zeolite back into old Bio-Bag, making sure I rinsed the carbon and zeolite in old tank water.
7. Inserted old Bio-Bag with new media back into filter.
8. Added water with dechlorinator.
9. Turned on heater, air pump, and filter.

looks about right to me.

Right-O, thanks!

Sounds okay to me.

the only steps i see missing are to make sure you put the little clip back on the top of the bio-bag frame... but i'm sure you did that. good job!
