Different Albino Cory's Species?

yes, they are great little creatures:) Yeah, I would think that you have room. I've never had barbs or any kind of gouramis, but I would think you are fine. Betta are low bio-load and Ghost Shrimp are VERY low bio-load and I find them very entertaining! I'm guessing its a male guppy, so you wouldn't have to worry about the multiplication factors lol

hey how would u tell the difference between a male and female peppered cory? would the female be fatter on an aerial/above view? or rounder from the head to stomach area? same thing with albinos (more common species)? i have two of each type. i'm considering getting one more peppered cory

Sexing in pretty much the same for all cories. As a general rule, female peppereds are larger. Probably your best bet is to look from above between the pectoral fins for wideness. (the fins at the sides of their body) Also, if looking from the side females will appear deeper (or taller from the bottom of belly to top of back) I'm not sure what you mean with the round head thing.
As far as just companionship and hanging out in the tank together, cory cats don't really seem to care that much about each other's gender. (they're aren't quite like our sex-driven friend the guppy ;) )

Does that help any?

anyone seen this peppered cory in a common store like Petsmart, Petco, Pet supplies Plus? I dont know if its the picture quality, but it looks like a nice shade of blue.

I actually have seen that pic before. To me, it looks like somebody may have had their camera setting a little weird. I have never seen one that color in real life, so I suspect that someone had their camera on a strange setting. If I don't set my digital camera correctly, sometimes I end up with strange looking pictures/colors.

But, I may be wrong.

The PetSmart around me has peppered cories. I was just referring to that I have never seen one with a blueish tint like the one in the pic

They are easy to find and are fun little fish with the benefit of being great scavengers! My PetSmart carries them very small, so they will most likely get a LOT bigger than the purchase size. In case anyone wonders....
