Different types of cories together?

My leopard cory usually follows the larger skunk around, but the albino is always swimming around by itself. Are albinos usually like that?

I concur with the later opinions.
I think most corys will interact with other corys if there is nothing else for them.

I started out with a bandit cory and a pair of bronze corys.
The bandit is slightly larger.
I lost both bronze corys pretty early.
I picked up five pepper corys shortly after the bronze corys died/disappeared.
I lost two pepper corys but got replacements due to the LFS policy.
I picked up another bandit cory (both were bought from Wal-Mart - go figure!) after all of that.

Now, the (cory) count stands at two bandits and five peppers.
The bandits are slightly larger - about 1.5" each.
The peppers are about 1" each.

The first bandit was never that active until the bronze (and then peppers) were introduced.
He would interact with them, but nothing close to when the second bandit was introduced!

Most of the 5 peppers now shoal together most of the time.
The two bandits now keep together.

So it make sense that corys will interact with other corys if they are all alone, but they prefer the same type (or at least the same colorings?) better.

I've wanted to try some panda corys, but my tank is too overstocked at this point in time. :(
Maybe when I eventually move the yellow labs and the CAE, I'll turn the 10G into an all cory tank.
I'm hooked on corys!

Just to throw in my experience, I had an albino and 2 julis in the same tank for many months. The albino was a miserable little fish, hid all the time, I actually thought something was wrong with him and considered euthanizing  . I moved him to my bigger tank when I got it and added 4 green corys. They look almost identical to him, with a little bit of sheen to them. The albino cory became a totally new fish :idea2: . He swims all around and schools with the others and seems sooo happy I feel guilty for not realizing the problem sooner. The 2 julis are still off on their own, rarely hanging with the others, so I see some new fish in my future....
