Anyone purchased any of these, they seem to get good reviews.

Do they effect the fish at all, or more just for "after hours" viewing of the Nocturnal creatures.

Im not sure about the digikit, but I use blue neon tubes you can get from the auto store for cars. They run off of 12v dc and look great and are inexpensive. The fish are never bothered by them.

I use an old computer power supply, it runs off a timer and kicks them off and on for a few hours at night and uses very little power. The lights look excellent.

What's a moonlight for?

I bought a cold cathode tube kit on ebay for $8.00 shipped. Added my own power cord from an old telephone. Nice stuff. Moonilghts are for viewing the fish during the "night" hours.
