Need help, my angels are fighting, I don't want to get rid of anybody, but I don't want anyone to die. I will be getting a much bigger tank hopefully before the Christmas, or close the the end of the summer. What can I do for now? The tank is a 55g, with 6 angels, yes I know two many for the tank but there were now issues until I trimmed that tank two days ago. The tank I will be getting is going to be a 180gallon tank

not much you can do except move fish around to different tanks.

your fish are maturing.. as such the angels will establish a pecking order.. given you have 6 you may actually be getting a pair(good chance of that)
this will result in more aggression.

You can add some decorations such as plants (fake or real) to break up lines of sight and to create more teritorites to be established. If that doesn't work you can always put a divider or two into the tank. Light deflector commonly called "egg crate" is available at Lowes and Home Depot and is a $10 fix to your problem. I'd separate the pair from the rest, assuming that they are showing signs of pairing and are maturing.

I've got 8 angels (at least 3 pairs) in my 100g tank along with 5-6 discus and they all get along fine except for a few bluff situations between the angels and occasional sparring that doesn't last more than 5 seconds.
