Hey everyone I need some kitchen table help. I recently sanded down our kitchen table to restain. But now I am wondering if I should paint the legs and sides and stain the table top. What are your thoughts? Kitchen is light color phone, oliveish color, kinda going for wine theme.

I like traditional stuff, so I wouldn't paint any of it. Stain all the way, but that's JMHO. I like the look of wood itself, so I usually advocate in favor of keeping the look of the wood as much as possible.

I vote stain :D

Paint the legs/base black and stain the top a nice walnut color.

I like the stain look as well, but mom my was thinking about the painting idea and was starting to like it. We were just talking about it and she was saying she was thinking about painting the legs a off white color and stain the top. Don't know yet but I do want your guy/girls ideas

Also don't mind the little mess, the table is in the living room since it was raining out after I did some sanding. Also sorry for picture quality I was using my phone.

stain it to match the chairs/benches........

But! if you are doing the chairs and benches too then I would go for black legs and wood stain the top and on the chairs, black legs and backs and wood stained seats. My sister has a table and chairs this color and it is gorgeous!!!
The black would complement your teal wall colors too. JMO! ;)

Yea most likely the chairs and benches will be sanded down as well just because they matched what the table use to look like. So you think for the chairs just to have the seat stains and everything else (legs, back, arm rests) black? What should I do with the benches? Sides and back black and just seat stained?

Yes, or you could stain the arm rests on the chairs to match the seats. Wish I had a pic of my sisters set. she does not have arm chairs so not sure which would look best. This is just my opinion, so make it to your own taste. The black combined with the stain is a really nice country look. Look at dining sets online to get a better idea of what you like. and make sure you post a pic when you are finished! ;)
