All of u guys have this problem.??? If so how do u fix it, ive been having alot of plant stuff around the tank.. I change the water about 1 every 2 weeks and yet still lots of plant stuff.. Also have you guys experenced a lazy algae eater??? I have 2 and they do nothing?? Any tips when i go out and get another??

Are you referring to floating debri in your water column? What kind of filtration are you running? You could try adding another mechanical filter to your tank, or adding more mechanical filtration media to your current filtration system. A spong over the intake of a filter will work nicely. Just pull that sponge out once a week and rinse it well.
What kind of algae eater are you referring to? There are a few algae eaters who will rather eat fish food rather than algae. Cutting back on the amount you feed should solve that problem somewhat. Algae eaters cannot be depended upon completely to solve an algae problem neither. Its mostly a matter of balancing nutrient, light and CO2 concentrations within your tank.

I have a normal powerfilter... I forgot what the name of my algae eater but its displayed on the front page of aquariacentral sitting on a green leaf.. Give me some of the names of common algae eaters and ill tell u what it is.. (i usually dont care about scientific names)... I have a 10 gallon tank, i am planing to get 5 algae eaters to take care of this ongoing problem.. (THe ones i plan to get are commonly just called algae eaters)
You haven't really said what the full problem is. Is it floating debris or algae? If it's algae, what kind of algae are you having a problem with? Just because a fish might be an algae eater doesn't mean he will eat the particular algae you might have. Each species has a preferrence.
Its both... Im having problem with green algae growing on the glass and on leaves and debris.. Its mainly pieces of plant stuff and excessive fish waste.. (been seing some nitrate pellets from my RCC)
I have a 20g and this is what I do. It works real good for me.
For debris and fish waste, I do what Richer said. I put a sponge on the the end of the intake on my AC200. I also use 2 sponges inside of it. And clean both weekly when I do a 20-30% water changes. This keeps all of the debris down to a minimum.
For algae all I have are 3 Otos. They do real good to keep the algae down. I'm don't know how long you leave your lights on, but if the algae is bad I would look into that to.
