I got 3 more Rummynose Tetras for my community tank last night and they seem to have disappeared. I already had 2 in there, and they appear to be fine.
I have some Tinfoil Barbs that have gotten pretty big, so I thought that maybe they ate them. But 3 of them? There's no way their stomachs are that big.

I don't see any remains floating around and I've checked around all of the plants several times.
It's frustrating because it was so neat to see them school with the other rummynoses last night.

???

I'd say about 2.5 inches. They're pretty big. It's just confusing because they don't bother the other Rummynoses.

I have them in a 30 gallon tank together with Tiger Barbs, Cherry Barbs, a Rainbow Shark, and a Red-Eye Tetra. They were in a 10 gallon tank until about 3 days ago. I wonder if they needed more time to adjust to the new tank.

I also put an African Dwarf Frog in there last night. He's doing fine.

hmmmm

have heard stories of frogs swallowing fish whole but that sort of seems unlikely -
tiger barbs are nippy but woulnt swallow them whole - maybe the rummies were harrassed to the point they stressed, died and then all occupants ate their remains?
also a heads up those tinfoils are gonna get WAY to big for a 30

I thought that they were pretty big for a 10 gallon.

I just thought that if the tetras got killed, that we would have seen some remains. I don't see how all 3 of them just completely disappeared. I guess it could happen though. Seems weird that the original 2 in the tank haven't been touched.

Thanks for the feedback...
