DISCOVRY CH: Amazon Abyss

Im watching that right now on the discovry ch, and their exploring the amazons water while trying to search for new types of fish.

The newest one they found is a Blood Sucking catfish, thats clear and looks like a 3inch long neon tetra but wiht blood replacing the red spots.

And a catfish thats all red and looks identical to a worm.

That show was really cool. It was neat to see the fish in their natural habbitat.

HA! I watched it last night too and it upset me! Everytime they go to the amazon they never show piranhas....mention them, but never show them :mad2: but it was cool though, i saw the little catfish. They said that they are easily mistaken as worms; I took them for being just that too. But it was an interesting look into the deeper parts of the amazon waters.

I watched it last night too. They showed some pretty interesting fish including a pleco, a black ghost knifefish, some type of cichlid and others I can't recall now. They did mention it was going to be on today at noon and again this coming Sunday at 5 pm. I TIVO'ed it!

I watched it too. It was neat. The weirdest thing, though, were those catfish that would eat things inside out. Can we say "ew!"

I watched it too! Great show, very interesting! I didn't see the whole thing though so I hope they reshow it so I can tape it. I did see the blood sucking catfish and the red worm catfish. Really cool!

I saw what I thought was a FM. Though they didn't say. And it was nice to see the ghost knife in the wild, since I have one in the...tame. How about the FW sting ray? Where do I pick one of those up.

haha yeah it was a cool show, i only episode one of it. I think theres more parts cause it ended weird.

What was that huge pl*co looking fish that eats wood? wouldnt mind that in my tank looked cool haha.

It was on again last night. I think there are a few different episodes, cuz I saw some stuff I didn't see last time. How about those candyrue (sp?)? Pirhanas got nothing on them.
