Discus Compatibility Question

Hello,

Would it be OK to stock 1 Columbian Shark with Discus. It would be in a 90gal tank. Just curios because I know some Columbian Sharks can be over active.

no. Columbian sharks are bracksh water fish when young, salt water fish when older.

I had mine in a full salt 65..

good point, I forgot about that. Do to the fact the Wal-Mart and Meijers often stock these fish.

Be careful what you put with discus. They can be sensitive fish and require pristine water conditions. They also require temps. in the 82-86 degree range which a lot a fish cannot handle on a consistent basis. I also want to say that I commend you on asking first and doing your research. Good for you.
