Discus planted tank

If 27.5 C is too low, why did mine breed many times then?

I have bred these fish, I've set up many Discus tanks for clients and know many Discus breeders, some of the best in this country.

If I'm doing it and I know others that are as well, then how can you say they have to have above 30C etc?

A good general temp range is 82-88F, if breeding is your sole goal then try bare bottom tanks and daily automated water changes tons of food/large tanks. Many folks are really looking for nice pets + nice plants, not max brood production/growth rates.
