True that, and then every now and then you get a cheap gem, or an expensive bust. Crapshoot a lot of times

when dealing in discus, my advice is do not take the crapshoot. if you buy from a trusted, quality source... say, Discus Hans... there is no crapshoot involved in a purchase like that. Hans' Stendkhers are about as bulletproof as they come!

I recently bought discus and angelfish from that site. Uhmm... well they were ok. One discus died but the other 3 were fine as well as the angels. However (big however) I did get one bully that actually bullied around my 10 discus. Really bugged me. However, I did end up giving that one away. So, I just looked at the sales and it's worth it to me to get some. I just had to treat initally with stress coat+ and Life Bearer as they turned black upon inital acclimation.
