I got an email the other day saying simply discus was down temporarily.

I used to post there back when I had discus and I still recieve notifications..

Discus don't really do well if they are the only discus in the tank if it's a discus only tank. What else is in the tank?

he will be shy and timid if kept alone.

can i put any kinds of bottom feeders to help control the algae?

okay, you can add 3 more but you can't keep them in there long term. They will need a larger tank down the road.

the pecking order will continue and as they grow they need space as a result.

lots of discus keepers start their juveniles in 30 gallon tanks, but move them into 65's or 75's as they get bigger.
