We just received a price increase so this will be the last time we do this at these prices. Also Wild Discus coming the week of April 17th 2009

We are going to have an Extreme Blow out sale this week, since we are no longer allowed to post prices below the PAP (Publicly Advertised Price) we will say they are between $23-$250.00 each plus shipping UPS next Day Air by 10:30 Am no exceptions for live arrival. Shipping another method at your own risk.

In the event that you receive a dead fish (which is rare now days) you must contact us at the # supplied on your invoice with in one hr of delivery, then to receive a credit for the fish only , you will need to cut the fish in half and email us a clear photo. When all has been confirmed we will ship out another fish , you pay shipping.

I can understand why you'd want to be sure the fish was dead so cutting it in half would prove that, but I really, really don't think I could do that! That's just taking it a bit too far Pops. Are there that many customers who lie about getting dead fish?
 
I've seen that before with people selling high-dollar fish like zebra plecos. Some people are scam artists...they will try really hard to con someone out of money or fish. While not very pleasant, it does ensure that someone will try to scam their way into a $200 replacement fish for one that was never really dead in the first place.
 
I personally think you'll lose more customers. I think you'll lose more $ this way than the occasional scammer. Just a thought do what you want.
 
Some people(like me) have no quality discus near by lol

regardless I think this thread needs to be cleaned up and remade into a sale thread rather than a debate thread.

how do you think your store is able to get them or any place for that. from the wild from breeders over seas they all get sent all over the place.

right on. as sad as it is it happens a lot. the higher the price the more likely there is someone to try to con it out of you.

sadly its a common problem in the trade.


basically those are his terms if you agree with him buy his discus if you dont well thats up to you.
 
could discus go into a 40 breeder???
