Disease!!!!

Something eating away at my guppies...lost 3 of 7 today and 3 more look like they have it. Looks like its taking there top fin first and then spreading to there bodies. I put some multi purpose medicine in there water...hope it will help. Its not ich...i've seen ich. Any ideas??????

Tank conditions? Is this the tremendously overstocked 1 gallon?

Also, can you give a better description? Eating away... like disapearing? Is there any color or texture to the areas?

no this is the guppies in the 10g tank. I was going to put them in the 70g tank and then put the 20 fry in the 10g tank when I noticed the disease. The dorsal fins look like they have been bitten off and the area around them looks discolored/almost clear and flakey...also swollen. Tank conditions are excellent except the disease of course.

Could it be fin rot?
