ditherfish for blood parrots

hi i have 3 bp and 1 ghost knife..all get along fine,,just want to put some dither-fish in to bring bp's out they seem to hide too much, u can advise me on what you know and may have i appreciate it please email me direct at jlhauck@comcast.net thanks Lori:coffee2: :read: :girl:

While I respectfully disagree with the 200 gallon tank size being needed.
I do agree that a decent size tank is needed to house a ghost knife adult.
Preferably a 6 footer.

If you were to choose some dithers I would say that some of the medium sized barbs would be best. Nothing too small that the BGK would make a meal out of at night when it is patrolling but also nothing too large IE: Tinfoils.

Arulius barbs are a nice choice as are spanner barbs. Clown barbs would also make a nice addition.

Now without knowing what size tank you have and assuming that you still have some room left. I would say 3 or 4 of the aforementioned barbs.

That being said I hope that you have at least a 77 gallon preferably a 90 or more.

I have a 10in Parrot with Giant Danios no problems.Parrots seem to behave in away of there surroundigs.Active fish active parrot, shy fish,shy parrot.Also check your NITRATES they tend to hide if there on the high side, above 60.
