Dithers for multies

oh dang, i must have done a bad job on sexing them, they were small, but i tried to gout an equal ratio of m/f in the bag.

It's ok, it's hard to tell when they're that tiny. The males didn't start to show colors until a couple weeks after I had them. They're in a nano tank with habrosus and several varieties of shrimp.

i really enjoyed having them, but when all of my males died while i was on vacation, i no longer had an incentive to keep them, plus i need to open up a tank. so i opened up theres.

With my Multi species setup any time i ever dropped a different fish in the tank (this is where my hybrid started) they were all punked.. So for years now my Multi's stay by themselves..

I bought a trio of dwarf platies while they were on sale at Petsmart. They stay up near the top of the tank and have really made my multis less shy. The multis will charge at them but haven't made contact. The platies have no torn fins or injuries. They just swim all over and around the top.

I wouldn't have thought of using platies but I like the idea. I wonder if platies would help my apistos? I have two wild caught from the aca, but they are with 4 decent sized rainbows...which my female apisto attacks...
