Dithers for tank

I currently have a tank full of 7 convicts and two blue acaras, however, i want to get rid of some of my convicts, and maybe keep two or three. And put some firemouthts in there. Now my question is, what kind of dithers would i want for that tank, i was thinking.....some giant danios maybe with some zebra danios mixed in, or how maybe some tiget barbs. I was also thinking of adding a red tailed shark, does anyone know how it would fair in the tank

red tail will beat the crap out of your cons and every other fish in about 6 months(if tank is <6'. Giant danios would work.
