Hey I just thought of something....
There was a guy in the Marine DIY forum posting about his product, the "Aquabridge". Its an acrylic tube connecting two tanks allowing fish to swim through freely. His website is www.aquabridge.com and if you go onto ebay you can purchase them cheaper if you search for aqua bridge. I just thought that it would fit your setup 100%
That link is for some fish exporter. Ebay search also came up empty.

What a cool concept. It's a bit like walking into a high end fish store, with all the tanks on display.

I think this is what he meant(or something like it)

Water Bridge

This is the first one that I found. Just to give you an idea. My friend had something similar to it on a tank that he had a long time ago. It takes a while before the fish get used to going above the surface of the water, especially on thier own :D

Just found this one....Too cool!
DIY!!

Jason, that is sooo cool! I think that if I built one, I would build extentions for tank cleaning & water changing so the bridge wouldn't empty.

I like the idea but I think you need to re-think your fish choices.

"the whole thing is in cycle at the moment..... left 10 gal will be home to 2 red cap gold fish.. middle 10 will be saltwater for home of a fire shrimp and 2 clown..... right 10 will be home for angle and some low light plant."

One gold fish will be to much foe a 10 gallon, the angle need a tank larger than a 10 also.

change in plan.....

i have think and change my plan...

since the left tank used to have 2 red cap but 1 got suck up by the filter..

left tank have only 1 red cap and 2 algae eater and 1 feeder comet....
