lol
enjoying your bad omelet with the weird wine??

Its worth a try but if the wine is ehhh then its just a waste of $$ since the concentrated grape juice dont come cheap.. Try the jello co2 then you can enjoy a different drink with a nice kick to it lol

but on the side note..

how do you plan to "turn off" a diy setup? i mean you have 2 options and both are pretty useless
1- unscrew the cap off the bottle so the tasty co2 enters your room
or
2- close the air regulator and the next morning when you turn it back on you get an explosion of co2 bubbles in your tank..

both just waste co2
Are you running an air pump? what you can do at night is when you turn off the lights crank up the air pump on full that way you have plenty of surface agitation.

cool! i didn't know my mom is white!!

even if i waste co2, i rather my fish not die so waste co2 or waste fish?

I have been running 2 bottles on my 10g and the fish have been fine, you will definitely see ph change but mine doesnt affect the fish. Monitor your ph once during the day and another time when you just wake up and about to turn the lights on, having the co2 run over night with an air pump. If you see a huge ph jump then "turning off" the co2 would be needed.
