I started out with the standard 2 liter coke bottle DIY generator but after fighting with getting a good seal through the cap I found a small garden sprayer in the Harbor Freight ad for $10. I took a look at it and was able to just remove the sprayer hose and connect up the silicone hose. I got it started last night after washing it out real well and it seems to be working very well so far.

yean man, I like that. If I hadn't of gone all hi-tech, I would have definately gone with that setup (...and it almost looks techie)

:)

Going with a pressurized system would be ideal, but I just don't have the budget for it in the near future with some needed computer upgrades coming soon and one of the bikes needing a new top end.

pH has dropped from 7.6 to ~6.9 since I started it up. I'm going to have to valve the flow if it drops much further.

looks good, do you ride enduro or motocross, why not upgrade to a crf250r and quit doing top ends. i race sport bikes, currently riding a 95 zx6r, raced a 2008 busa two weeks ago a reallt great ride.

I race desert on a CR500. It needs a new top end after 2 years of riding and racing. I could probably get another 6 months out of it if I wanted to, but would rather err on the side of caution.

@ the thought of a CRF250R and not doing top ends. Sorry but those bikes are horrible on top ends and bad things happen if let go too long. The XR is on its 2nd piston in 25 years.
