Ok, what is the simplest Co2 diffuser, cant I just run an irline tube from the yeast thingy and stick it in the aquarium?

Limewood airstones are cheap

sticking the airline alone in the aquarium wont do it since the bubbles will just go up and escape the tank. You need something to keep the gas in the tank for as long as possible and have it diffuse in the water.
Powerheads help
Glass diffusers/limewood airstones also work great
placing the line under filter intake (works best if its on canister filter)

All I have filter wise is a HOB and a sponge, What should I do about that?? Limestone Airstone are those just the ones you get at petco? the blue ones? Also I have heard of weighing down a cup, upside down, ya know.

some do the airline tubing into the intake of their HOB but i see that as a waste since it just escapes the filter by the impeller and you get minimal diffusion.
What you can do in your case is get a limewood airstone (wooden one, not those blue/black ones) and add it at the lowest point in your tank, right below the filters over flow. The airstone will create micro bubbles which once they rise will be pushed back down into the tank by the overflow of the filter.

The upside down cup/bell is pointless since water movement and size of the gas bubbles is what will give you maximum diffusion.

petco?
