1, 2 litre co2 reactor. mixture= 3 cups sugar, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon yeast.

Q) How long will this produce co2 before I have to replace the mixture?
Thanks,
Jacob

I put together a 4L setup almost a month ago with ~4C sugar and 1tsp yeast, and it's still steadily streaming bubbles. It stays at least 64*F in my house.

use 1/2 tsp yeast in a 2l setup. itll last longer. everythingelse looks good. ensure that you activate your yeast in a cup of warm (102F) sugar water for approx 15-20 mins before you put it in your bottle of sugar water mix, otherwise the yeast may die.

Shagmaster, now that I took the plunge, I can tell you that pressurized CO2 is the way to go.

I live in L.A. for a while, and there is no end of welding supply shops nearby. Getting a bottle charged should be zero difficulty.

DIY CO2 was my recurring job for a year; going "on the bottle" was the best thing I've ever done.
