I have a hard quaestion about building an inline DIY CO2 diffuser. Mine is PVC and is 10" with a diameter of 2". My question deals with the size of bioballs to use inside. I have a whole bunch of 1" balls I might use. I'm interested to know how flow will be affected with either a couple big balls 2" or a bunch of smaller balls 1".

Thanks for any help.

The smaller balls will create more eddies/currents which is better for diffusing the CO2 into the water.
