DIY cork structure

Hey guy's i'm copying Mellow's idea of a cork aquascape and just wanted to show you guys my progress on the tank and was wondering what sorts of ideas you guys had for colors to paint the back of the tank. This will be for apistogramma cacatuoides

There will also be a piece in the big open space on the wall that is supposed to look like a floating mountain that i have to wait for the silicone to dry before i put it up.

I am going to grow java moss on the cork pieces in the front and i need to try and find a viney plant to put up on the piece on the left to grow up the cork. But it needs to be a low light plant.

That looks great! Maybe anubias nana, takes a loong while to get really viney. I siliconed cork to slate for my mellow-ish tank, coundn't commit LOL. I also have narrow & lace java fern plus some out of control moss

I just filled up the tank with water and now am going to wait for 3 days drain the water add black sand and java moss and fill er up again.

Mine leeched a lot of tannins if that bothers you
