OT, but using a 5gal bucket for a sealed pressurized filter isn't a great idea. I did it once, also for turtles. I had straps wrapped around it to keep the top strapped on, and it would still leak, especially if i stopped it and started it again. Those tops aren't really made to stay on tight with the contents pressurized.
