It looks simple enough to build. But then, I'm just getting a 55 gal to start setting up NEW, on Friday and it has no tall hood. Heck, I'm not even sure what all is coming with it. How many lights would a standard 55 need?

Yo I just saw the DYI thread for the Sponge Filter and wanna build one tomorrow. Just a few questions if anyone know the answers.......Got a 70 gal SW, This Sponge filter will be a back up, my primary being a Penguin Bio wheel 350. What size PVC should I ues??? 3/4" OK??? Also what size air pump should I be using to get the optimal performance out a this thing??? Also if I choose not to use an air stone will just the tubeing work the same???? Any and all feed back will be much appreciated... Thanks.............PEACE
