DIY- Reresiliconing 75Gal Tank :)

i have a question for people who have done this before:

how do u protect your fingers from the pressure that u have to put on the razor blade to get it to cut off the silicone? cuz my thumb and pointer finger hurt REALLY bad right now! 0xD

A tip for getting the little bits of silicone and sand out....I used a small paint brush and "swept" it into a dust pan, worked great for me!

Talking about the vinegar, wait till you get to the silicone!!!

well i've reapplied silicone before (as u may tell by the thread title) but when i did it i did not take out the old silicone (OOPS!) so this is my first time scraping it off. but i know how badly it smells when applying new silicone. lol. :)

ALRIGHT! all the old silicone is scraped off and pics are coming up momentarily. :) then the next step is applying new silicone to the tank and then it will be up and running in no time! :)
