The foam is not really necessary. I used mine to make the wall taller and give it balance so it wont shift.
Heres the "mini" wall for another tank
Definitely do not need foam for a wall this size. One rock in my wall is the size of that entire wall (length and width, not height) so there's a bit more weight. That does look fantastic!!!

beviking i was actually going to use plain white foam for this to make it taller but was 2 lazy to actually do it.. And the pictures in your link are outdated buddy lol ppl want to see updates!!
