DIY Sump/refugium

Did you look at any of the models listed on Melevsreef that I linked to earlier?

Following the photos in those you should be able to make one to fit under your stand. The measurements I used wouldn't help a bit because they were custom and based on the room I had under my stand, the size and type of equipment I had, etc.

wow your pretty good at the DIY.... i read the thread and was very impressed .... i think i might go with your sump design i was just curious what you used for your skimmer and refugium lighting .... also what you kept in your refugium???? and another question was with your overflow being in the bottom of your tank what would you do if there was a power failure??? i'm sure i'll have more questions later also

The sump lighting was 50w, i think, skimmer was a seaclone that was modified.

The overflow was at the top of the tank, about 1.5 inches below the water surface mate, so, i was covered incase of a power failure...

As as many questions as you like mate, thats what we are here for..
