I needed a tank divider while my Jaguars are in parental mode. I'm not so much worried about the eggs and fry as I am the Jags killing all my other fish.
I wanted something that would not hinder the water flow. So this is my solution. It costs about $15. It has sand in one end to anchor it on the bottom and the other end just floats keeping it erect.

Good idea on keeping sand in one end! That's a great solution to keep in standing up.

Thats a pretty fancy solution. lol, last time my pleco got aggressive, I put a square pizza pan in the tank.

you did more then i have done. i just put the egg crate in the tank with out and pvc to hook it too.

I wasn't 100% sure how I would keep the egg crate up by itself with out a bit of work. propping it up with rocks and such. The pvc was the solution to that, plus I figured it will be handy for future use as well.

glad you like it.

Now that I have my composure I so that I can type, i am going to put that in my signature if you have no objections.

My wife and I are both laughing about that. You do what you have to, I don't fault you for that, but I got the image of someone being frustrated, aggrovated, and just fed up wedging a pan into the tank.
