DIY top off

I'm looking to make some sort of top off device to place in my refg. anyone know of some simple DIY ideas that would work?
I'm handy, so thats not a problem.
I would assume I need about 1/2-1 gallon a day.

We took the easy way out, small pump-repti-flo 250, and set it to a digital timer for 1 minute a day. A little less than what I need, but 2 minutes would be too much. Works great, was an easy fix as we didn't have time to order anything for a trip before.

Thanks.. His site has so much information I don't think I've read it all yet.. AND I'M JEALOUS OF HIS TANKS... I have a sump made by him.. He does excellent work..
 
ive skimmed the whole site and It is an impressive site he has really informative.
