DIY vs. BRAND CO2

So far, not a bad setup, the only thing is that it's been over a week and the darn CO2 bubbles still stick on the ladder.

The only reason I get the bubbles stuck on my ladder is because the **** snails keep crawling into it and laying eggs. The egg masses are invisible when in water but when I pulled the ladder out I could see the globs in the exact spots the bubbles were getting stuck in.

With the plants growing so well now I never have algae on the glass anyway and the snail population has crashed. Since It's getting annoying to keep cleaning it I'm thinking I should just cull the rest of the snails instead.
