How about an upside down aquarium... 
One of the many wacky ideas I've had (but never acted on)- was to build an upside-down aquarium. Put the lights under the bottom of the aquarium- fill tank with water put fish in- build lid with decorations on it upside down... can maybe even plant live stem plants upside down on the lid if you can figure a way to get the filter output to keep the lid wet.
Take photos but don't tell anyone it's an upside down aquarium and let everyone ponder why your fish all swim upside down!
