You don't have to run right out and get a new tank yet, they grow pretty slow unless you over feed. I have had mine two years now and they are only 5-6 inches long(they started out about 2 inches). I'm working on getting a 75 gal or 90 gal and will move both plecos when I get that tank up and running but for now they are both doing just fine.
