DO Angels go Crazy with Neons

How do you figure that? A 30 gallon tank is 36x12x16, that's only 16" high. You figure the fish should take up all the space from top to bottom? Angels swim in the middle layer, so there really does need to be a middle layer. You won't have one in a tank that shallow and a full grown angel.

ahhhhhhhh but ive seen ones that are like 7cm in body length living peacfully with neons
 
how many Cm are there in Inches again . we use cm in our country
 
well if i do see any of my small fish disapear ill have a excuse to take them back casue my dad woundly be too happy if i just brought them for and return them weeks later :huh:
 
kill a wat...angels get a lot bigger than 7cm...up to 6inches (15 cm) is full grown size and a lot higher....the ones you saw were juveniles(sp?)

and If you wanna add something else to what you said use the edit button don't post 2 or 3 posts in a row especially with words like..."hmmmm" :spam: :thud:
 
Cardinal tetras grow larger than neons and are a good alternative to keep with angels. Even an adult angel would have difficulties trying to swallow a 1.75-2" fish. Neons rarely get over an inch.
 
Like Diego L. said, your angels will grow. When adding fish, research adult size and go from that. Plan for how big your fish will get, not how big they are when you purchase them. Most fish you buy at a lfs, are not full grown. Angels will get tall. Picture yourself confined full grown in a room where your feet are on the ground and your head is touching the roof. how big do serapae (sp?) tetras get? i saw them in walmart and liked them
 
There are many different views on sepae tetra. The people in the store will tell you that they are peaceful community fish. The thing is, in order to be peaceful, you need a good sized school. A good sized school will be so amuzed with each other that they won't pay much mind to other fish. But, if you don't have a large school, they may get bored and start to nip or chase other fish. It may take them several days to realize that this would be fun. Many people will tell you that they are peaceful, but you must consider what else is in the tank.

To answer size: about 1.5 inches average
