The flowering Nymphaea picture I posted was from an aquarium. It was a 55g tank with 160w (no reflectors, regular flourescents) with a lot of space between the surface and lights (~1.5 feet+). I was willing to let it hog the tank in order for it to flower, but long term it's a chore I would not want, to be constantly pruning leaves and whatnot.
