Hi I'm starting to plan for my second setup and I would like to keep a bristlenose but I don't know if they really need wood.:1zhelp::1zhelp::1zhelp::dance2::frog::1zhelp::grinno::shakehead::1zhelp::coffee::help2::help2::help::help::wall::wall::wall:

Wouldn't be that hard to have a small section of wood hidden in the back of some plants just in case they do need it. They need a hiding place either way and wood is far prettier to look at than a fake cave rock or a pvc pipe.

No, it is not "necessary" to have wood for a BN pleco.
