Do common gold fish loose their color?

I have 2 common golds in my 55 Gal tank, and they both seem to have turned white.

They both had orange in em, but not anymore. The water is in good shape. I figured it's cause their growing up.

they do lose change color and do so throughout their lives... nice seeing you, Jamz!

i have a black moor who is a couple years old. started out as a dark bronze color, now he is orange on the sides with brown fins and a brown stripe along his back.
