Well I actually have seen them do this once and awhile since I bought them. That was like 2 months ago. I have just 3 balloon mollys, 1 male 2 females and only the females do it. There are other fish but they don't do this. Anyhow when I posted this last weekend I thought she would be a gonner by morning. I saw her "drinking" all day to the point she started to have the pinecone look. Next morning she was fine as could be. It must be what was suggested about them drinking/eating from the surface. She eats fine and pops out babies just fine. For now all I will do is keep an eye on her. :look:
