Moment of truth... maybe... or not...
The only problem with the way I tested is that I had to put my cam in a clear bag since it's not waterproof. So, if the camera lense simulates the fish's eye, there is an additional surface (where the water meets the bag) and air space between my lense and the water, despite how tightly I try to press the bag to the lense. With a water proof cam, this wouldn't be a factor, and the results might be different.. not sure.
