Hi all,
I have two pair of german blue rams that seem to be on break from laying eggs. They laid like clock work for awhile - every 10 days or so but haven't laid a batch of eggs in several weeks. Do they take time off or do I need to do something to put them in the mood? I am wondering if it is the food. I used to feed them white worms, blood worms and flake. I almost lost my white worm culture so I have not been able to feed them any of them lately. Is live food a necessity to encourage breeding? I have only been able to raise one batch of fry successfully so far and I am anxious to try some different things with the next batch. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
